Prof. Adrian Newland,

Adrian Newland is Professor of Haematology and Centre Lead for Haematology at Queen Mary\'s School of Medicine and Dentistry, London, UK. He is also Director of the North East Thames Cancer Network and President of the Royal College of Pathologists. Professor Newland has received extensive grant support which has enabled him to carry out research focusing on immunohaematology and leukaemia cell biology. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Hematology, and amongst other organisations, he is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the British societies of haematology and immunology. Professor Newland has published widely on mechanisms and pathways of apoptosis, and has developed the guidelines and clinical studies in ITP. His manuscripts have been published in international peer-reviewed journals including Blood, The Lancet and the American Journal of Hematology.
