Dr. Roberto Stasi,

Roberto Stasi is a Consultant Haematologist at St George’s Hospital, London, UK. He obtained his medical degree in 1987 at the University of Rome, Italy, prior to specialising in general, clinical and laboratory haematology. In 1999, Professor Stasi completed a specialist degree in medical oncology, also at the University of Rome. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Hematology Association Working Group on Thrombocytopenias, and a member of the Working Party on anaemias and thrombocytopenias of the Italian group, GIMEMA. As well as a member of several haematology organisations, Professor Stasi is Associate Editor of the Journal of Medical Case Reports and a member of the editorial board of Haematologica. He also serves as a reviewer for The New England Journal of Medicine, Blood, the British Journal of Haematology and The Lancet Oncology. Professor Stasi is the author or co-author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
