General Hospital of Pyrgos “Andreas Papandreou\" Obstetrical – Gynaecological Clinic.
AIM: Is to notice the treatment of disturbance of panic in the outpatient department and the importance of its prognosis.
MATERIAL - METHOD: The sample of our analysis has been constituted of 40 women of age 20 until 60 year old, married and bachelors respectively. They were studied according to criteria DSM IV. The material included healthy women but also women who in the past had been sickened, from Western Greece. The patients were separated in two teams. In the A team, we did advisory intervention in 20 patients, we explained them the nature of symptoms, we gave directives on self therapy and we administered 1mg of alprazolam daily while in the B team which was consisted of 20 patients, we reassured them and we administered them 1 mg of alprazolam. The collection of data became according to anonymous questionnaire of phobias, under the scale of depression of Beck. The study was done with qualitative analysis of the results.
