The evaluation of cervix uteri in patients affected with extern genital condiloma.
Aim: the evaluation of cervixs infection with high risk HPV,in patients with condiloma accuminata of extern genital organs.
Methods and material: During the year 2010 ,39 women with condiloma accuminata of extern genital organs were examined in Regional Hospital of Durres,Albania.We applied Pap test,colposcopy,HPV test(with hibrid capture method to detect high risk HPV) and punch biopsi.
Results: The age of patients was 21-50 year.
Colposcopic results: 5(12.8%) patients result with unsatisfactory colposcopy, 22(56.4%) woman result with normal colposcopy.
12(30.7%) woman result with abnormal colposcopy; 2(16.6%) patients result with cervical condiloma,7(58.3%) patients result with major colposcopic changes, 3(25%) patients result with minor colposcopic changes.
Citologic results:18(46.%) patients had normal citology, 9(23%) patients result with ASCUS, 7(17.9%) result with LSIL, 1(2.5%) results with ASCUS-H, 3(7.69%) patients result with HSIL, 1(2.5%) results inssuficient material for citology.
HPV test results(HPV test with hibrid capture method for detection of high grade virus,type 16,18,31,etc): 15(38.4%) patients were negative for high risk HPV,24(61.6%) patients were positiv.
Biopsi results: we aplied punch biopsy in 10(25.6%) patients: 1 (10%) result normal, 1(10%) results with cervical condiloma, 4(40%) result with CIN1, 3(30%) result with CIN2, 1(10%) result with immature metaplasy.
Conclusion: 61.5% of patients with extern gental condiloma were portators of High Risk HPV.
30.7% of cases result with abnormal colposcopy.
