Jur Strobos,MD, JD, is the Deputy Directorfor the Forum for Collaborative HIV Research. Dr. Strobos brings to the Forum more than 30 years of experience inpatient care, clinical research, and international drug regulation. His areas of expertise include pharmaceuticallaw, clinical trial design, and good manufacturing practices. Before joining the Forum, Dr. Strobos servedas a Consultant to the pharmaceutical industry and has also served as the Vice Presidentof Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs for three pharmaceutical firms. From 1990 to 1995, Dr. Strobos served as Directorof the Policy Research Staff in the Office of the Commissioner of the US Foodand Drug Administration. He received hismedical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in1978 and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1986.
