Dr. Donald Warne is a member of the Oglala Lakota tribe from Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and comes from a long line of traditional Lakota headers. He received his MD from Stanford University & his MPH from Harvard University and he has completed fellowships in Alternative Medicine from the Arizona Centre for Health and Medicine and in Minority Health Policy from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Warne is the executive director of the Aberdeen Area Tribal Chairmen’s Health Board in Rapid City, South Dakota; a consortium of 18 tribes in 4 states.
